Thinking of buying a smart device but not sure if it'll work with what you've got? I'll check before you spend, and save you the hassle.
Smart home kits don't all play nicely together. Some devices only work with Alexa, others only with Apple, some need their own little hub, and a few won't talk to anything except their own app. It's easy to spend good money on something that turns out to be a poor fit.
If you're thinking of buying something — a new doorbell, a thermostat, a robot vacuum, a security camera, anything — send me the details before you order, and I'll tell you straight whether it'll work with your existing setup, and what (if anything) you'd need to make it work.
